CONTROL DEVICE FOR AIR-FUEL RATIO DURING ACCELERATION OF INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To improve accelerating performance, by providing a device which suspends feedback control in response to the generation of an accelerating state signal and drives a stepper motor to a reference (desired) position. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converting circuit 210 detects the opening value of a throttle. When the change value of a throttle opening is below a reference value, a comparator 220 generates an accelerating state signal ACC. A reference (desired) position register 244 stores the reference (desired) position of a stepper motor 13 when the register is in an accelerating state. While an accelerating state signal is being supplied to an engine operating state deciding circuit 242, a stepper motor 13 is held at a fixed position suitable for acceleration. This feeds sufficiently rich fuel-air mixture during acceleration, and improves accelerating performance.
