PURPOSE:To simplify the external circuit by obtaining the AC output in an output transformer by discharging the first electrode, continuously shifting the discharging from one second electrode to the other second electrode, by means of generating the magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:The first electrode 1 is connected to one terminal of a DC power source. To the other terminal of the DC power source, are connected the even number of the second electrodes 2 and 3, which are separated from the first electrode 1 with a discharge gap being provided and have a gap which is actually smaller than said discharge gap between the second electrodes, via the output transformer 10. The magnetic field is generated in said discharge gap by a magnetic field generating means 5. The first electrode 1 is discharge, and the discharge is rotated in a spoke shape along the second electrode 2 and 3. The current flows alternately between first windings 10A and 10B of the output transformer 10, and the AC output is obtained across the load. |
