PURPOSE:To enable the cover body of an air cleaner to be rapidly mounted and removed by providing said cover body in an integrated form with a side cover on the side of a car body and engaging or removing a fastening member with a rotating operation of less than one rotation. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner box 22 is covered by a cover body 60 which is provided in an integrated form with a side cover which covers the side of a body. The projected part of the cover body 60 is fitted in a groove on the peripheral edge of an exchange opening 24, and the bar bodies 82 of fastening members 80 are inserted into the opening 68 of the cover body 60, the through holes 31, 33, 35 of lip members 30, 32, 34, and the opening of the base board of a stopping member 38, and each of their tips is fitted to the opening 46 of a stopping piece 44 being brought in contact with a pair of nibs 48. Then, the fastening member 80 is rotated 90 deg. clockwise, the nibs 48, 48 are engaged with the stopping groove 84 on the end of the body 82, pulling the stopping piece 44 to the base board 40 side, and the cover body 60 is strongly pressed to the air cleaner box 22 due to the elastic restoring force of the stopping pieces 44. The cover body 60 is removed by rotating the fastening member 80 90 deg. counterclockwise. |
