PURPOSE:To shorten the axial width of an antilock brake device and to make the structure of the device compact, by arranging a pump shaft on one side of a drive shaft rotatably fitted on an axle, so that both shafts are associated with each other. CONSTITUTION:A drive shaft 42 is rotatably journalled onto a cylindrical shaft 24 in a casing 22 supported by an axle 10, through the intermediary of a bearing 41. Meanwhile a cam shaft 26 for a hydraulic pump 16 is laid in parallel with the axle 10, and is journalled to a cover member 22b through the intermediary of bearings 40, 40', and is driven by means of the drive shaft 42 through a pair of gears 43, 44. The drive shaft 42 is driven by the front wheel axle 10 through a speed-up gear device 42. |
