PURPOSE:To inquire into the cause easily in case when a monitor check has been generated, by adding a routine for processing a monitor command and returning a response, to each level of a control program of a communication control processor. CONSTITUTION:A routine for processing a monitor command and returning a response is added to a program part, too, of a level 3 and a level 4, and also when the monitor command has been sent from a VTAM to a program part of the level 3, a function for distributing the monitor command to tasks (1)-(4) of the level 4 and a level 5 is added. Also, the program part of the level 3 monitors whether a READ command is sent within a prescribed time or not, after an attention has been sent to the VTAM, also starts to count the time after receiving the monitor command, and monitors whether the next monitor command is sent within a prescribed time or not. |
