PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic disk which reduces the space corresponding to the bending quantity of a spindle earth and uses effectively the space in the device by providing a bending part on a flat spring from the position used for fixing it on a base to node. CONSTITUTION:A folded part 8 is provided on the way of a flat spring 7 in terms of a magnetic disk device having a spindle earth 2 composed of the part in contact with a node 5 provided at the tip of a spindle and a flat spring 7 in order to escape static electricity arising in the spindle for rotating a magnetic disk. Namely, the folded part 8 is provided on the way of the flat spring 7 when the step between the node 5 and a base 3 is minimal or larger. Thus a packaging space 9 of a spindle 4 can be reduced, and the space utilization of the magnetic disk device can be improved, whereby a scaled-down magnetic disk device can be produced. |
