发明名称 OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration due to a change in the volume of a layer during optical recording and to obtain a recording medium especially capable of being rewritten by using tungsten oxide as a base material, and using a thin film wherein one element among specified 12 elements such as P or an alloy of plural kinds of said elements is dispersed in the base material as the recording layer. CONSTITUTION:An element among P, S, Ga, Ge, As, Se, In, Sn, Sb, Te, Pb, and Bi or an alloy of plural kinds of said elements such as In0.2S0.3Sb0.4Ge0.1 is dispersed in a base body of WO3 to obtain a thin film, which is formed on a substrate of glass, plastics, etc. to obtain an optical recording medium. A protective film of an SiO2 film, etc. can be formed on the recording layer. Since the WO3 base material has many voids, a change in the volume of the recording layer occurring when the layer is irradiated with light, made amorphous, and recorded can be absorbed. Consequently, the deformation of the optical recording layer can be controlled, the deterioration is prevented, and the sensitivity is improved when the protective film is provided.
