The invention relates to a connecting device (1) for electrical apparatuses (6) which are provided with a plurality of plug pins (3), especially electrical proximity switches which do not make contact. The connecting device (1) consists of individual sockets (4) which can be connected to the plug pins (3) and are connected to the connecting leads (10), and which are held in insertion openings (11) in a plastic part (2). The plastic part is pushed onto the plug pins (3), together with the sockets (4), the apparatus (6) having an attachment (7) which is provided with an external thread onto which the internal thread of a collar (8) of a cap (5) can be screwed. Using the edge (15) of the perforation which is provided for the cable (14) to pass through, the cap (5) firmly holds a ring (13), which is crushed against the cable, as a cable grip. <IMAGE>
