PURPOSE:To perform a piercing work with positioning a suture needle correctly by providing the guide coming into contact with the both side part of a suture needle material and the base end part and by making at least one part of guides slidable according to a punch as well. CONSTITUTION:A needle material 1 is adhered closely to an anvil 2 between the right and left guides 4, 5 and the base end part thereof is brought into contact with the base end guide 6. When the base end part of the needle material is subjected to a front working with this condition, the right guide 5 is advanced due to the punch 3 being descended and the right and left end parts of the needle material 1 are brought into contact with the right and left guides 4, 5. The needle material 1 is positioned by the right and left, base end guides 4, 5, 6 and the front work can be performed at the fixed position. When the punch 3 is then ascended, the right guide 5 is retreated, so when the needle material 1 is backed with its turning over, the needle material 1 is positioned by the guides 4, 5, 6 and the positions of front working and backing can be coincided. By the way either the left guide 4 or both guides 4, 5 will do for the sliding guide, or even with the sliding of one part of the side guide the setting of the needle material can be made easier and the automation is possible as well. |
