PURPOSE:To readily position arbitrarily in a simple structure by forming the stator of a linear stepping motor in a cylindrical shape, and threadensing the end, and engaging it on the mounting plate of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A linear stepping motor is formed at its stator 1 in a cylindrical shape and therein with a moving element 2. Teeth 3 corresponding to the minimum moving distance is concentrically cut on the inner wall of the stator 1 and the outer wall of the element 2. A magnet section 4 made of a permanent magnet and a coil is formed at the element 2, and is excited externally to move the element 2 along a guide 7. In this case, threads 6 is cut on one inner end of the stator 1, and the mount 5 is formed with threads to be engaged therewith. Thus, with the mount 5 as a reference to rotate the stator 1 to move the element 2 to the arbitrary position, and the motor can be simply positioned. |
