Fuel injection nozzle for combustion engine having a spring-biased valve needle (24) and swirl tunnels leading to the nozzle opening (18). Said channels consist of grooves (66) provided in a sleeve (62) surrounding the valve needle (24) and of corresponding grooves provided in the nozzle body (10) or the valve needle (24). Said arrangement enables to obtain, by means of conventional machining operations, excellent surfaces for the faces of the oblique channels (66).
