PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a screw and production of metallic powder by chamferring both side edges of the screwed part of a half nut screwed to a carriage moving screw shaft to prevent wienching. CONSTITUTION:The half nut 42 fitted to a plate spring 41 is screwed to the moving screw shaft 37 of a carriage 34 supporting the optical pickup. Then both side edges 42a with respect to the center of the screwed part of the nut 42 are chamferred along the shaft center. Thus, the carriage 34 reaches the moving limit position, then the shaft 37 is turned somewhat and the half nut 42 is twisted, but wrenching phenomenon is prevented because of the said chamferring. Thus, wear of the shaft 37 is prevented and production of metallic powder due to wear is prevented. |
