PURPOSE:To perform high stopping positioning accuracy without contact by stop positioning by an electromagnet in a station and accelerating or decelerating by a linear induction motor. CONSTITUTION:An accelerating/decelerating linear induction motor is composed of a conductor plate 8 mounted on the lower side of the bottom of a conveying vessel 8, and a coil 12 wound on a stator core 10 supported by a support member 9 at a suitable interval to a conveying rail 2. On the other hand, an electromagnet 14 is disposed at the prescribed stopping position, and a ferromagnetic portion 17 is disposed on a vehicle. If the electromagnet 14 is excited when the vehicle is moved to the prescribed stopping position, the vehicle stops at the prescribed position by the attraction between the magnet 14 and the portion 17. Thus, the stop positioning accuracy can be improved. |
