PURPOSE:To maintain the accuracy of measurement and a long life by positioning a diode to prevent a discharge current and to pass only a charging current in a Pb electrode, and positioning a diode and a FET transistor to pass a charging current with constant magnitude in a PbU2 electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a charge and discharge device 18 is in a charging state, a current with necessary magnitude which is specified flows into a PbU2 electrode 11 through a FET transistor 16, and an extra current flows into the positive plate of a battery through a diode 17. All of the charging current which flows into an electrolyte 3 enters into the Pb electrode 9 of a specific gravity sensor, and returns to the charge and discharge device 18 through a diode 13. When the charge and discharge device 18 is in a discharging state, the current which comes from the charge and discharge device 18 passes through a diode 14 to causes the negative plate 4 of the battery to discharge. At this time, the Pb electrode 9 of the specific gravity sensor is prevented to discharge by the diode 13. The current which has flown into the electrolyte 3 from the negative plate 4 enters into the PbU2 electrode 11 of the specific gravity sensor, and further enters into the charge and discharge device 18 through a diode 15. |
