ROTOR FIELD WINDING OF ELECTRIC MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent a copper from wearing between thin layers by bonding via an adhesive between the thin layers of a rotor field winding. CONSTITUTION:A winding insulator 43 is formed between winding layers, and a hole corresponding to a vent hole of a conductor rod 42 of copper is formed to form a cooling passage 46 in the insulator 43. The layers 23 and 24 connected in parallel are bonded therebetween via an adhesive 47 with respect to the longitudinal direction of a slot. The adhesive 47 uses a thermosetting epoxy adhesive, a polyester resin or a silicone resin. The bonding by the adhesive 47 is performed simultaneously when the insulator 43 and the rod 42 are bonded after the rod 42 is associated in the slot 31. This bonding suppresses the relative movement of the thin layers to prevent the copper from wearing.
