发明名称 SIGNAL PROCESSING OF STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To find abnormality in early stage while to improve safety by deciding whether the steering angle signal is within predetermined range when the car speed is maintained higher than predetermined level and deciding to be abnormal if it is at the outside of said range after elapse of predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:After start of car, control circuit 14 will decide whether it is under initial condition on the basis of a signal from a steering angle sensor 5, and if the answer is YES, car speed data V from a car speed sensor 6 is compared with a referential level V1 (30km/h, for example). If V>=V1, it is decided whether the steering angle theta is within predetermined range theta2>=theta>=theta1. If the answer is YES, the average steering angle theta within predetermined time is obtained to decide normal if the average level is within predetermined range. While if the answer is NO, the steering sensor 5 is decided to be abnormal if such state has continued more than predetermined time and to display the abnormality on an indicator 7.
