A method for creating a thermo-electric arrangement (10), and a thermo-electric arrangement (10) are intended, using economical manufacturing means, to provide a compact construction (which can be highly stressed both mechanically and thermally) for the series circuits of thermo-element pairs (11). For this purpose, spoke rings (12) consisting of thermo-element materials (1, 2) in the form of foils are machined, which are initially still held together by short links (21) (which extend peripherally) between the spokes (14). The spokes (14) run pivoted through a small angle (13) with respect to the annular radials (15) and, preferably at their ends, have bulges (19, 20) which extend tangentially away from one another. If two such rings (12) are superimposed on one another in opposite senses, the superimposed bulges (19, 20) can be used to produce the thermo-electric connecting points (3, 4) at the outer periphery and at the inner periphery (16, 17) of the rings (12.1/12.2), in order thereafter to interrupt the links (21), for series connection of the thermo-element pairs (11). Links (21) between the radially projecting series-circuit connections (5, 6) are expediently not cut until the series-circuit of the thermo-element pairs (11) is embedded in a reinforced moulding (24) which is configured in an annular shape. <IMAGE>
