The invention described relates to a brake housing for fully lined disc brakes for motor vehicles, which consists of two parts connected on the outside by means of screws. Its set object is to improve the cooling effect and to prevent deformations at the point where the brake housing is connected to the hub. This is achieved in that the brake-housing part connected to the hub has on its inner circumference a flanged ring which is connected solely via radial ribs to the brake-housing annular plate forming the run-on face, so that a ventilation in the direction of the arrow shown in the accompanying figure takes place. <IMAGE>
