Plane linkage for producing a rocking motion of an output member (12) about a virtual axis (MDP) in space, which is arranged as a parallel linkage with a fixed web (1-1) and a coupler (6) between the cranks at the free end of the linkage, to which the output member is attached. The parallel linkage has a first pair (2, 3) of cranks, the cranks of which are arranged pivotably and spaced apart on the fixed web (1-1), and a second pair (4, 5) of cranks, which is articulated on the cranks of the first pair of cranks, with its joints (III, V; IV, VI) spaced apart, and which is furthermore connected in articulated fashion to the coupler (6) carrying the output member (12).
