PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a transmission quality by providing a means for stopping a reproducing function. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexing device 100 consists of a block 101 for multiplexing and separating a signal, and a block 102 for compressing and separating the information. In case the signal is separated by the block 101, and information is compressed and decoded at every information channel by a compandor 103, and the signal passes through by being relayed by a switchboard provided with this device, the compandor 103 is by-passed by a switch 104. |
