PURPOSE:To start the recording of a received message immediately after the end of a response message by recording marker signals just after response messages which are recorded in opposite directions on different tracks and running a tape for reception by the position of the marker signal on each track and inverting the running direction of the tape for response. CONSTITUTION:A normal compact cassette is used as the tape TP-1 for response, and the response message OGM1 is recorded on the first track T1, and the marker signal MK1 indicating the end of the response message is recorded just after this message OGM1. A response message OGM2 having the same contents as the response message OGM1 is recorded in the opposite direction on the second track T2, and a marker signal MK2 is recorded just after the message OGM2 similarly. When the marker signal MK1 is reproduced after the response message OGM1 is reproduced, a plunger PL for automatic reverse mechanism is driven to rotate a reproducing head HP, and the state where the second track T2 of the tape TP-1 is reproduced is set. |
