An electrical snap switch is proposed which has at least three stationary contact parts to which a snap switching element is allocated, which can be influenced via an attachment device, is provided with contact coatings, is elongated, is of essentially flat and rectangular construction and consists of electrically conductive material, and from which at least one spring flap, which originates from a narrow side, is cut free. In this case, in order to implement two mutually independent switching regions while using only one snap switching element, it is provided that at least one cut-free spring flap likewise originate from the other narrow side opposite the said narrow side, that the free ends of the spring flap originating from the two narrow sides be supported on one and the same stationary contact part, and that the snap switching element be supported in the region of its lateral axis on a switch module.
