The invention relates to a safety ski binding with a sole-holder which is held by a spring in its normal position and releases the ski boot by swinging away in the event of overloading. The sole-holder is made of plastic and has inside it an actuating curve, on which a locking part is supported, via which the power of the spring is transmitted to the sole-holder. To permit the uncompromising selection of material in order to obtain the most favourable combinations of material possible, the actuating curve is provided on a special curved piece which is inserted into the sole-holder and which consists of another type of plastic or of metal. Another characteristic of the invention is that the curved piece is designed to consist of two or more parts, each part then supporting a curved section. <IMAGE>
