The housing of the chamber is light-tight and contains a replaceable light filter at the front. Mounted in the interior of the housing is a light source in front of which there is placed a filter having the wavelength of the external filter. In investigating photosensitive reactions, the filters are chosen in such a way that the reaction taking place is not adversely affected. Underneath the filter are arm passages so that work can be carried out in the chamber. After use, the chamber housing can be collapsed and consequently stored in a space-saving manner.
