The toxicity of the known anti-cancer agents cisplatinate, cyclophosphamide, methotrexate and the like is reduced by combination with 8-dialkylaminoalkoxycaffeines, especially 8-dimethylaminopropoxy-caffeine, and the activity is increased. The anti-cancer agents or medicaments formed as a result are more beneficial.
