Elevating systems used for military purposes are to be constructed as small as possible for operational reasons. This leads to limitations, which are removed by the present invention. Depending on the requirements of the complete system, this arrangement accommodates equipment and means which are required for the operation of the service units of an elevating platform or supplement their equipment. In this case it functions as an additional or supply station. However, without great expense, the arrangement can also be constructed in such a way that its equipment can be used independently for close-in protection, etc. Among the many possible equipment variants are such which increase the chances of survival even in the case of future highly mechanised operational developments.
