PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a flip flop circuit and simplify construction while enable conduction timing for a primary current control switch to be set desirably and reduce a loss by improving the structure of an ignition action allowing interval detecting signal generating circuit in an ignition device. CONSTITUTION:Wave from shaping circuits 5, 6 which shapes a first and a second signal from a signal coil 4 into pulse forms, and an ignition action allowing interval detecting signal generating circuit 7 which obtains an ignition action allowing interval detecting signal which lasts from the maximum lead angle position to the minimum lead angle position at the both ends of a signal accumulating capacitor 7e, are provided in the control unit of an ignition device. And, a first integral circuit 8 ad a reset circuit 9 are also provided. The circuit 9 makes a first integral capacitor 8d discharge in a moment when a second pulse signal is generated. A second integral circuit and a third integral circuit 10, 11 charge a second and a third capacitor 10a, 11a during the times from immediately after the minimum lead angle position to the following minimum lead angle position and from immediately after the maximum lead angle position to the following maximum lead angle position, respectively. Further, a first and a second comparison circuit 12, 13 are provided. |
