<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a molded part with different color tones or materials at its front and back surfaces by a method wherein firstly, a semi-hardened preform the thickness of which is thinner tan that of a final molded part, is made and, after that, a molded part, the composition of the molding material of which is the same as or different from that of said preform, is integrally molded together with the preform in order to obtain the final molded part. CONSTITUTION:Molding material such as unsaturated polyester resin or the like can be exampled as the applicable thermosetting resin molding material. Firstly, a semi- hardened preform with the thickness thinner than that of a final molded part is made of the above-mentioned molding material. In order to make the thickness of the preform smaller than that of the final molded part, the material, the usage of the amount of the molding material smaller than that of the molding material necessary for molding the final molded part is enough as for the preparation of the amount of molding material to be filled in a mold. Preferably, the amount of a molding material, with which about 1/10-9/10 of the thickness of the final molded part can produce, may be employed. A molded part, the composition of the molding material of which is the same as or different from that of the preform is integrally molded together with the preform thus obtained in order to obtain the final FRP molded part.</p> |
