PURPOSE:To form a glass film superior in uniformity, adhesive property on grain oriented silicon steel sheet, by coating annealing separator agent composed mainly of MgO contg. a suitable quantity of colloidal TiO2 on Si steel sheet decarburization annealed and finishing annealing said sheet. CONSTITUTION:Si steel material is rolled to the final sheet thickness, then decarburization annealed. On the obtd. steel sheet surface, annealing separator agent contg. MgO as main constituent, and 0.1-10.0wt% colloidal TiO2 as TiO2 in wt. ratio to MgO is coated and said sheet is dried, if necessary, said agent powder for preventing steel sheet burning is adhered electrostatically thereon, then finish annealing is applied. In this way, glass film made mainly of forsterite superior remarkably in uniformity, adhesive property is formed and grain oriented silicon steel sheet having high magnetic flux density and superior iron loss property is obtd. |
