PURPOSE:To enable color detection unaffected by a detecting condition of a detecting surface by irradiating at random a detecting beam of light making a light-receiving lens which receives a beam of reflecting light from a detecting surface and color-separating light-receiving element group as an image non- developing optical system. CONSTITUTION:A beam of light is irradiated from a projector 1 to a detecting surface of a specimen 2 through the specified angle. In front of the specimen 3, a light-receiving lens 4 is installed and further, on the optical axis of this light-receiving lens 4, color-separating light-receiving element group 5 consisting of a plurality of color-separating light-receiving elements 51-53 are arranged in such a way that the axis intersects with the group. And, the distance of the focus F of the lens 4 is set shorter than the distance L, distance from the center of the lens 4 to the light-receiving surface of the group of elements 51-53, and an image-developing system is formed to allow the detecting beam of light to be irradiated at random to the element group 5. On the output end of the color-separating light-receiving element group 5, an output computing circuit 7 is connected for the computing process. |
