PURPOSE:To improve the properties of a soln. for forming a photosensitive layer as well as to obtain photosensitive paper having superior raw stock preservability by incorporating sodium naphthalene-1,6,-disulfonate into a photosensitive layer contg. a specified diazo compound and a specific coupling component. CONSTITUTION:Sodium naphthalene-1,6-disulfonate is incorporated into a photosensitive layer formed on a support. The photosensitive layer contains a diazo compound represented by formula I (where R1 is 1-5C alkyl, each of R2 and R3 is alkyl, aralkyl or the like, R2 and R3 may form a heterocyclic ring together with N bonding to them, and X is an anion) and a coupling component represented by formula II (where R4 is H, 1-4C alkyl, alkoxy or halogen, and R5 is alkyl, aralkyl or the like). A coating soln. for forming a photosensitive layer having said composition has favorable properties, and the resulting diazo photosensitive paper has superior raw stock preservability. |
