PURPOSE:To make simple circuit composition, by a method wherein the delay of dot pattern signal classified by color is performed at the final phase, and an overlay pattern in which printing is carried out changing color in the page unit and superimposing with a letter, is output in the state it is synthesized with dot pattern of the letter. CONSTITUTION:The first letter output signal 8 which is output from an output control part 6 divided according to the color designation of every letter and the second letter signal 9 are composited at the first synthesizing circuit 18a and the second synthesizing circuit 18b respectively with the first overlay output signal 16 and the second overlay output signal 17 which are divided at overlay output change-over circuit 14 according to the color designation of every page, and is output as a dot pattern signal of each print color. Furthermore, since the printing of different colors are performed at the different places in the printer, printings are properly delayed by delay circuits 19a and 19b so as the phaces for the printing positions of the two are finally coincident with each other. |
