发明名称 APPARATUS FOR TRACKING TARGET
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance not only the tracking accuracy of a low altitude target but also response capacity to the abrupt change in the angle of the target, by adding an orthogonal phase detector in a monopulse tracking apparatus and controlling an antenna driving circuit so as to adjust the output thereof to zero. CONSTITUTION:In a monopulse tracking radar apparatus having a distance tracking system for processing the sum signal of the output of a monopulse receiver 1 and an angle tracking system for processing a difference signal, the difference signal DELTA of the monopulse receiver 1 is inputted to a phase detec tor 5 through a 90 deg. phase advancer 9 to perform phase detection on the basis of a sum signal SIGMA. The output EQ of this phase detector 5 is inputted to an absolute value circuit 10 and the EQ-signals of two adjacent receiving waves are added by an adder 12 through an one-pulse repeating cycle delay circuit 11. The obtained value is inputted to an angle error signal forming circuit 7 to form a closed tracking loop so as to form EQ=0. The elevation angle of the target are calculated on the basis of the output of other phase detector and the angle of an antenna by a target angle calculation circuit 14.
