PURPOSE:To enable the use of a low-priced ink ribbon without slowing the speed printing operation by providing a means to select inking means individually from among the plural means with ink ribbons of plain color material. CONSTITUTION:Plural inking rollers 2-1-2-4 and pressing rollers 3-1-3-4 are arranged in mutually opposed position before a printing head 1 with an ink ribbon 7 sandwiched in between. The ink ribbon is of plain color and the inking rollers 2-1-2-4 have different color inks impregnated. Each ink roller and each pressing roller operate at right angle with each ink ribbon. When colors are designated, the ink of the inking roller 2-2 is applied to a plain color ink ribbon 7, if the inking roller 202 ad pressing roller 3-2 hold the ink ribbon 7. The number of ink colors is increased, if the numbers of inking rollers and pressing rollers are increased. |
