The reed relay-contact envelope (6) is fabricated entirely or partially from an elastic material. Contact movement is actuated by applying a force (F) which deforms the flexible wall of the envelope. Two sections of the envelope each contain one or several contact (2, 3) which move relative to each other when the force (F) is applied. When the force (F) is removed the contacts (2, 3) return to their initial position under the effect of the resetting force (FR) exerted by the envelope material.
