PURPOSE:To enable to simply and surely fix a mounting body to a body to be mounted by a method wherein a metallic rotating bar is pressed against the tip side of a protruded part so as to deform the tip of the protruded part by means of the frictional heat due to the rotation of the bar in such a manner as to bridge a boss hole over its edge and at the same time to press some portion of the tip in the bore of the boss hole. CONSTITUTION:The protruded part b1 of a face part B is assembled by being inserted in an oblong hole a1 in such a manner as to stick the tip out of the back surface side of a finisher A. A metallic rotating bar T is pushed against the tip held in a vertical line directing upward. A round bar with a hemi-spherically hollowed out dent t1, the surface of which is applied with smoothing treatment such as chrome plating or the like, on its tip surface is employed as the rotating bar T. By pressingly lowering the rotating bar T while being rotated at constant speed, the face part B is tightly fixed to the finisher part A through the engagement of a flange part b2 with the edge of the boss hole a1 and the embedment of the bore of the boss hole a1 with the deformed part b3. In addition, because no deformed part b3 is exposed to the front surface side, no surface properties of the finisher A is impaired. |
