PURPOSE:To simplify considerably an operation for setting variable powers by setting either the size of an original or the size of a copy and a copying magnification and displaying visibly the other size as a fixed size or the size except the fixed size. CONSTITUTION:The signal from an original size setting key 54 and the signal from a variable power setting key 17 are inputted to a microcomputer 59 when an original size setting operation by the key 54 is executed. The copy size is calculated in accordance with the original size and variable power and a copy size display device 20 is lighted and controlled by a display device driving circuit 61. The original size is calculated from the copy size and variable power and an original size display device 19 is lighted and controlled when the setting operation of the copy size is executed by a copy size setting key 55. The variable power at which the optimum copy is obtainable is thus easily set by operating th key 17 while judging visually the display of the device 19 or 20. |
