PURPOSE:To make possible the sure inputting of data requiring initial setting by instructing the key operating procedure to be carried out for the purpose of the initial setting prior to the start of a copying operation in accordance with the selected function. CONSTITUTION:Whether an automatic variable magnification setting mode for the purpose of executing the initial setting or an automatic copying paper selection mode is selected or not is discriminated and whether a display clear key 65 is on or not is discriminated in either case. If the key 65 is off, the lamps built in respective control keys are lighted up in accordance with the operating sequence and the control keys to be operated are displayed in dot matrix by a display device 52, by which the sure setting operation is made possible. |
