PURPOSE:To eliminate difference in the quantity of supply of fuel and the remaining of fuel by making the direction of the opening of an additional air passage perpendicular to a line connecting cylinders while making the opening direction of said additional air passage to a suction air passage in a inclined direction with respect to a flow of air. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine has e.g., four cylinders, inside which pistons 14A-14D are placed. Intake manifolds 16A-16D which are connected to the cylinders, are brought into confluence at a collecting part 18. And, further, a throttle valve assembly body 20 and an injection valve assembly body 22 are connected to the collecting part 18, and an additional air supply passage 30 is formed on the inner walls of the assembly bodies 20, 22. In this case, the opening direction of the opening part 32 of said passage 30 to an intake air passage 24, is made nearly perpendicular to, and faced, the line of cylinders. The opening part 32 is formed, being downwardly inclined with an angle theta to the flow of air flowing in the air passage 24. |
