PURPOSE:To improve copying quality, especially the granular property of a solid part by arranging the trimming magnetic pole of a magnet roll and regulating the magnetic flux density of the trimming area to be 100 gauses or below. CONSTITUTION:Respective magnetic poles other than the trimming roll are arranged on the magnet roll 5 by removing the trimming roll so that magnetic flux density in the trimming area is 100 gauses or below. While being agitated by an agitator 8, magnetic toner 4 stored in a hopper 3 is carried and the magnetic toner adhered to the surface of a sleave by the magnetic force of the rool 5 is regulated by a regulating member 7 so as to be a thin layer. Since the magnetic flux density is regulated so as to be 100 gauses or below without forming the trimming magnetic pole, the magnetic toner components formed on the sleave 6 like a thin layer are adhered to each other and the toner does not show cylindrical property. Consequently, the granular property of the toner adhered to the surface of the sleave 6 can be improved. |
