<p>PURPOSE:To simplify and facilitate the process for manufacturing multi-color images and to improve the performance of the multi-color images by providing temp. differences to transparent electrodes formed to a prescribed pattern shape and forming the films of coloring agents for respective prescribed colors in a vapor phase within the same vacuum vessel. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive film is first laminated on a base 1. The patterned transparent electrodes 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 are formed on the transparent conductive film. The substrate 1 having the transparent electrodes of the prescribed pattern is set into the substrate holder part in a vacuum deposition device and transparent electrode 2-1 having the prescribed pattern forming the colored layer is not subjected to a heating operation. The other transparent electrodes having the prescribed pattern without forming the colored layer are subjected to electrical working. The coloring agent of, for example, red R is evaporated to form the film of the 1st colored layer R3 in a vapor phase on the prescribed patterned transparent electrode. A transparent protective layer 4-1 is formed thereon if necessary. The colored layers of green G and blue B are formed by the same method. The process for manufacture is thus simplified and facilitated and the performance is improved.</p> |
