PURPOSE:To enable information to be printed out directly on a transparent film with high image quality, by a method wherein a heat- and photo-sensitive film used as a recording medium is treated by processes of thermal writing entire-surface exposure entire-surface heating. CONSTITUTION:The heat- and photo-sensitive film 3 is fed through a film passage 15 toward an outlet part 14 by driving rollers 4.5, 11, 13 to rotate. When writing information, the film 3 is intermittently fed by an amount for writing in one line, at a time. When the film 3 is stopped, an electric current is passed to an electromagnetic device 9 to press the front surface of a thermal head 6 against the surface of the film 3 fitted around a platen roller 5, in the width direction of thereof, and a one-line amount of information is written on the film 3. The film 3 with the information thermally written thereon naturally cools to normal temperature, and is subjected to entire-surface exposure by an entire-surface exposure lamp 10, whereby latent images are formed. Then entire-surface heating is conducted by bringing the film into close contact with a heated roller 11, whereby a sensitive material part at the latent image parts is thermally developed. |
