PURPOSE:To improve durability and responsiveness by using a plasma- polymerized high-polymer layer to constitute an inside layer consisting of a hydrophobic org. compd. constituting an ion sensitive film and a surface layer having an ion exchange group of an ammonium salt type. CONSTITUTION:The inside layer 6a of a sensitive film 6 is formed by masking properly an ion sensor base material of glass, etc. and subjecting the same to plasma polymn. conditions in an atmosphere of a hydrophobic org. compd. such as styrene. Such base material is subjected to the plasma polymn. conditions in the atmosphere of an org. amino compd. such as diethyl allyl amine to form an amino group-contg. high-polymer film. The amino group is then converted to the ion exchange group of an ammonium salt type by a chemical treatment to form the surface layer 6b of the film 6. The anion sensor is manufactured by providing the film 6 thereto. The excellent durability and good responsiveness can be thereby provided to the sensor and the manufacture is made simple and economical. |
