PURPOSE:To permit the perfect chamferring work by guiding a metal round rod by a feeding-passage regulating plate having a feeding-passage conversion passage and allowing said round rod to aslantly contact with a plurality of sander belts, thus scraping the burrs on the peripheral edge of the round rod even, if the edge surface of the round rod is deformed into elliptical form. CONSTITUTION:A transfer base 8 is advanced by the start of a chain 6, and a workpiece (a) is set at the rignt edge position and supported onto the right and left supporting rollers 10 of the transfer base 8, and shifted leftward, and when the workpiece passes through the undersurface of the sander blet 29 in a belt sander unit 28, the undersurface of the sander belt 29 is allowed to contact with the peripheral edge surface of the workpiece (a) through deflection, and the workpiece (a) is reversed, with the other edge of the workpiece (a) pressed onto a feeding-passage regulating plate 14, and at the same time, the burrs on the peripheral surface of the edge surface is scraped by the sander belt 29, and chamferring is carried-out. The workpiece (a) on the transfer base 8 passes through a feeding passage conversion passage 17 in the center part, and the edge surface which is chamferring-processed is shifted leftward, and when the workpiece passes the undersurface of the sander belt 29', the burrs on the other peripheral edge of the workpiece (a) is scraped, and chamferring is carried-out. |
