PURPOSE:To obtain a film for use on an overhead projector, which has favorable water base ink receptivity, is dried speedily and enables water base inks to be favorably used, by sequentially laminating a liquid-absorbing layer and a liquid-permeable surface layer on at least one side of a transparent synthetic resin base. CONSTITUTION:The film 1 comprises a hydrophilic liquid-absorbing layer 3 and a hydrophilic liquid-permeable surface layer 4 sequentially laminated on one side of the transparent synthetic resin base 2. When characters, patterns or the like are drawn is a water base ink on the surface layer 4, the ink immediately permeates the surface layer 4, and is favorably received by the liquid- absorbing layer 3, so that the ink is instantly dried, and there is no trouble such as scaling off of the ink due to friction or the like after drying. The material for the base 2 may be preferably a polyester. A mixture of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and hydroxyethyl cellulose is effective for use as a material for the liquid-absorbing layer 3. |
