PURPOSE:To cast continuously ingots each having a specified weight and thickness by measuring the amt. of the molten metal stored in a tub from a melting furnace and increasing or decreasing the moving speed of a conveyor which conveys ingot cases according to the measured weight. CONSTITUTION:The casting device is constituted of the tub 2 in which the molten metal m1 in the melting furnace 1 is once stored, a distributor 5 which distributes the molten metal m2 in the tube 2 to the ingot cases 4 of a continu ous casting machine 3, the continuous casting machine 3 provided with the conveyor 10 for conveying continuously the many ingot cases, a weighing device 9 which weighs the molten metal m2 in the tub 2 and a controller 11 which increases or decreases the speed of the conveyor 10 according to the measured weight. An electronic weighing device is used for the device 9 and the controller 11 is connecting by a cord 13 to the device 9 and transmits the command to control the motor 14 for the conveyor 10 of the machine 3 and a motor 15 for adjusting the tapping rate of an electromagnetic spout 12. Electromagnetic induction is utilized for the spout 12. |
