PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of operations by a method in which a sensor to detect the passage of a weight is provided to a frame by making an allowance for the time lag of switching of a direction switch valve, and the sensor is connected to the solenoid of the valve in such a way as to cause it to rise immediately when the weight strikes a cap. CONSTITUTION:When the switch of an operator 12 is turned on, pressure oil from an oil-pressure pump 13 flows into the Y-chamber of an oil-pressure cylinder 4 to raise a piston 8, a rod 6, and a weight 7. The set time of a timer T is elapsed, a solenoid 11a is excited, the oil of the Y-chamber of the cylinder 4 is discharged into X-chamber, and the weight 7 begins to drop. When the weight 7 drops, the passage of the weight 7 is detected by a proximity switch 20, and the timer T is again actuated. At the same time as striking is made, pressure oil flows into the Y-chamber of the cylinder 4, and the weight 7 is raised. Since the weight 7 begins to rise immediately after the weight collides with a cap, the number of striking times can be increased and the efficiency of operations can be raised. |
