发明名称 REFLECTION TYPE GLASS STRAIN INSPECTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to measure the strain of a glass by projecting a linearly polarized light on the glass surface to be observed and by constituting Senarmont compensator by inserting a quarter wavelength plate and rotatable polarized light plate into the path of the reflecting light from the glass surface. CONSTITUTION:A light projecting part 21 is installed in a slant direction on the upper part of a case 20 and an incandescent lamp 22, polarized light plate 23 and condenser lens 24 are arranged therein. A holding base 26 is provided rotatably on the horizontal surface at the center part of the inner bottom of the case 20, and the object 28 to be inspected incorporating the glass 27 to be observed is placed thereupon with the glass 27 on the upper face. A quarter wavelength plate 30 and rotatable polarized light plate 31 are inserted into the measuring part 29 which is located in the path of the reflecting light caused with the projection of the light flux 25 emitted from the light projecting part 21 on the glass 27. The quantitative measurement of strain can thus be performed without the need of large spacious room.
