PURPOSE:To sample a deposit without disturbance by inserting a sludge collector body into the deposit slowly so that the collector is erected stably on the deposit by a main body support frame, and then closing a stopper valve horizontally with a spring before elevating the main body. CONSTITUTION:When the sludge collector body 4 is erected on a bottom surface with four grounding legs 7 of the main body support frame 5, it sinks in the deposit by its own weight and a layer of the deposit enters a sludge collection pipe 1. When the main body 4 stops moving down, a movable frame 35 abutting on a weight stopper plate 32 falls by gravitation and the conic part of a stopper 36 presses the trigger of a coupler 28, which couples with the frame 25. Further, the frame 35 is elevated with a wire 39 and then a stopper pin connected by a thin wire 27 is extracted from a rotary cylinder 17, so the stopper valve 16 is closed by being rotated with the spring to charge the deposit in the sludge collection pipe 1. Then, the frame 35 is elevated through the wire 39 and the deposit is moved to a sample bottle. |
