PURPOSE:To efficiently perform processing works, with the operator of an attendant board not being recalled continuously, by measuring at least one of the handling traffic intensity and the number of calls of the attendant board and recalling the attendant board when a previously fixed time has passed in accordance with the size of the traffic of the output information. CONSTITUTION:A central controller (CC)5 monitors the state of a called extension 8 in accordance with a program and a traffic intensity measuring device (TRF)7 continuously monitors the incoming traffic intensity to an attendant board (ATT)1 from central office trunks (COT)41-4n through the CC5. Upon detecting a vacant condition of the called extension 8, the operator causes a link 33 to be set and connects the extension 8 when suspending operations are performed. In the case of camp-on service processing, the incoming call is automatically connected with the extension 8. On the other hand, if a busy condition or non-answering condition of the called extension 8 continues, the CC5 causes a B board controller (CTL)6 to recall the ATT1, when a time period previously fixed in accordance with the size of the incoming traffic intensity measured by the TRF7 has passed. |
